Creating A Policy Framework for Space Settlement

A native New Yorker and lifelong space advocate, Steve Wolfe will share his story from his growing up in the New York boroughs to his space advocacy efforts to his space policy work on Capitol Hill. Most importantly, Steve will share his current work as President and Co-Founder of the Beyond Earth Institute (BE), a policy think tank whose mission is to create and sustain a legal and policy framework that enables economically vibrant communities beyond Earth. BE asserts that, contrary to those who think space settlement is too far in the future to worry about, in fact, the human expansion into space is already underway and our space policies must reflect this reality.
