Back Care Basics

A supportive back is a vital component to our body’s balance, coordination, and overall flow. In this workshop we will explore and embody simple, effective ways to find relief from tension and integrate dynamic support and balance in your back. This experiential workshop will include a guided awareness practice, movement explorations, basic anatomy, and an introduction to the Alexander Technique. No experience necessary.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You regularly struggle with back pain, strain, or accumulated tension
  • You are uncomfortable sitting or working at your computer
  • Your back hurts during or after daily activities
  • You are curious about mindful approaches to working with your body
  • You’re looking for body knowledge that empowers you to take care of yourself
