¡Atrévete! I Yo quiero, yo quiero dinero: Latinx Funders and Founders | October 5

This event is part of GA's Latinx Heritage Month: ¡Atrévete!

A month-long fiesta to showcase Hispanic and Latinx communities and celebrating the positive impact that they have made on modern US history. And, for the first time, General Assembly will offer our award-winning tech workshops en Español, taught by Latinx leaders!

Check out the full schedule here!

Though the need for greater equity in venture capital funding has been talked about for years, a new report from data service site Crunchbase shows that Black and Latinx founders still lag behind their peers when it comes to VC investments.

As of Aug. 31, 2020, Crunchbase found that Black and Latinx founders raised $2.3 billion in funding, representing just 2.6% of the total $87.3 billion in funding that has gone to all founders so far in 2020.

So we are so saying no more diversity theater. We're bringing together Latinx Founders and Latinx Investors to engage, talk, meet, greet and connect.
