Jeffrey Derose is a social impact entrepreneur focused on driving economic transformation through technology, financial, and entrepreneurial education and support. Jeffrey comes from a strong financial and technological background. Jeffrey began his career in finance, working in wealth management and as a trader at a hedge fund. Jeffrey soon transitioned into technology, beginning with pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science, then launching a technology consulting firm called Startup Advisory Group. While running Startup Advisory Group, Jeffrey has provided technology and marketing consulting to institutional clients, small businesses and startups. While providing services, Jeffrey has been able to provide community events and formed partnerships that has allowed him to grow an extensive network of investors, founders, and subject matter experts that can be leveraged for a variety of business activities. Currently Jeffrey is successfully running the COllege of Staten Island Tech Incubator and continuing his mission to drive economic change through entrepreneurial support and technology education. Jeffrey is the Director at the College of Staten Island Technology Incubator and is also a member of the Economic Club of NY.

NYTM is our signature event that has been a staple for the NYC tech ecosystem since 2004. It's the world’s largest meetup group of its kind with members who have a common interest in learning from and helping one another.
