When considering identity, especially the various identities that may or may not be represented within your organization, it's essential to recognize that everyone has multiple identities. Intersectionality is a term and concept coined to describe the interconnected and overlapping nature of social identities. In this webinar, SGO Co-Founder Felicia Jadczak will review various social identity groups, define intersectionality, and discuss how we can consider multiple and intersecting identities within the workplace.

About the Facilitator:
Felicia is the Co-Founder, Co-CEO, and Head of Training at She+ Geeks Out. Felicia is a recognized speaker and consultant in the diversity, equity, and inclusion field. She has extensive and personal experience with leadership, innovation, women in the workforce, the multiracial experience, and disability. Before co-founding SGO, she worked in the technology industry for over ten years, providing strategic guidance and programming for ERGs, DEI councils, and C-suite members. In 2016 she pivoted to focus solely on She+ Geeks Out, where she oversees SGO’s DEI programming and facilitation team.
Felicia received a BA in Comparative Literature (French, English) from Haverford College. She received an MBA and a Masters in Information Systems (with honors) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. She also completed Georgetown University’s Certificate in Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management.

About the Facilitator:
Kia Rivera is passionate about all things grounded in community and equity. She has extensive experience in DEI spaces in both Higher Education and Corporate spaces. As a facilitator, Kia believes in the power of storytelling and building community. She uses these tools when facilitating because she believes that when stories are shared, and community is built, we do the deepest learning.
Kia received her Masters in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University and earned her BA in History from Lasell University. When she’s not trying to change systems, she can be found hanging out with her dog and wife, gaming, or enjoying the outdoors on a hike or a run.
