Joaquín Roca, CEO & Co-founder, Minerva

Joaquín Roca is a native Brooklynite and lifelong New Yorker with two decades of experience building leadership development and technology companies.

In 2018, frustrated with creating tedious process guides for clients, Joaquín developed the concept behind Minerva: an interactive how-to guide, showing you exactly where to click and what to do next for anything online. As the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Minerva, Joaquín oversees business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, talent and culture, and investor relations.

Minerva has since raised over $5MM from top-tier investors including Craft Ventures, GGV, and Max Ventures.

Prior to Minerva, Joaquín was an organization development consultant, designing and delivering impactful trainings and interventions for many of the world’s leading multinational corporations, municipal governments, NGOs, and startups. The United Nations, American Express, and Pfizer are a few of the companies Joaquín has worked with in his consulting career.

Joaquín earned a BA in Psychology and Economics from New York University and completed all the requirements (save for the dissertation) for a Ph.D. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
