Man United vs Leeds United for a Premier League midweek makeup match at Old Trafford on Wednesday, February 8 at 3 p.m. ET.
Manchester United host Leeds in the first of consecutive Premier League clashes between the old rivals tonight before travelling to Elland Road on Sunday. These two fixtures could have big ramifications for both teams with Erik ten Hag’s men hoping to get into the title race and Leeds trying to avoid relegation after sacking manager Jesse Marsch.
Having to face Leeds twice before their first leg of a Europa League knockout play-off clash with Barcelona on February 16, Erik ten Hag will look to cement their place in the top three after responding to the 3-2 defeat to Arsenal with a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Manchester United is 3-0-1 against Leeds United since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. They are meeting up for their first leg of the season at 3 p.m. ET at Old Trafford. Man United won both of their matches against Leeds United last season (5-1 and 4-2) and is aiming for the same result this time around.
The visitors are currently without a manager after Jesse March was sacked, while relegation scares deepen following a series of poor performances in the league where they last faced a 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest.
Erik ten Hag's side go into the game with just one defeat in their past 15 games in all competitions, whilst Michael Skubala, one of three coaches taking temporary charge of the first team, faces a tough task in Manchester as the club search for Jesse Marsch's permanent successor.
Leeds United are winless in seven Premier League games and have won two of their last 17 - all under Jesse Marsch.
They have only scored four goals since the World Cup.
Leeds' tally of five away points this season is a joint-league low with Bournemouth.
The Yorkshire club make the journey west having sacked Jesse Marsch with Chris Armas placed in temporary charge for a daunting clash against the side sat third in the Premier League table.
The game will not be shown on TV this week due to the original fixture not being chosen for broadcast in the UK.
If a game that is not picked for television coverage is postponed, then the rearranged match is still not able to be shown on TV.
While the match may not be available to watch, talkSPORT will have you covered with EXCLUSIVE live radio commentary.

As such, a caretaker team made up of Michael Skubala, Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo will be in charge tonight and they'll be keen to help United pick up their first Premier League win since November. This one was originally meant to take place in September last year, but the match was postponed following the death of the Queen.
