2014 has been a big year for Hadoop, but how far along is Enterprise adoption of the open source Big Data framework?  Hadoop can now be used for interactive data discovery and in-memory analytics, and it’s seeing increased progress in fine-grained security capabilities as well.  But issues remain, be it around SQL query access, data warehouse integration (and displacement), data quality, self-service access and the suitability of relying on open source code vs commercial, closed source products.

Please join NYTECH and Gigaom for a panel discussion around these topics and more, with some of the best minds in data and analytics today.  What better way to kick off before the Strata + Hadoop World conference that begins the following day?

This event is produced in partnership with Gigaom Research.
