Join us for a virtual event series created by NY Tech Alliance and Grasshopper Bank as a bimonthly check-in for tech founders, entrepreneurs, and small business leaders during this time of uncertainty.

We are aiming to make this "a bring your concerns/ questions with you and let's have a candid conversation" type space. We can't promise that we will have all the answers, but we can promise that you will not be alone as you navigate these times!

May 7 - Brand Messaging and Positioning During This Time

NYTA & Grasshopper Bank continue the series "Don't Panic, Let's Talk!" with a 2-part webinar on Brand Messaging & Positioning.

For this session on May 7th, we'll dig into the actual tactics that Alli Kasirer and her company Robyn executed in response to COVID-19. Robyn is a community driven platform for maternal wellness tools, and we'll look at how they pivoted their brand messaging to help women and their families' on their especially unique paths to parenthood during this challenging time.

About Alli Kasirer, CEO + Founder, Robyn-

In founding Robyn, Allison Kaiser set out on a mission to make sure no other woman ever felt as alone and confused as she once did on her journey to parenthood. Robyn is a community-driven digital platform that provides access to a network of integrative maternal wellness tools, resources, and specialists. Prior to launching Robyn, Allison was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.

About Micah Baldwin:

Micah currently works in the Early Stage Practice at Grasshopper Bank, the first digital commercial bank focused on supporting founders and venture funds. As a long time executive coach and investor, he advises several startups and funds, including Tuesday Ventures, an SF-based early-stage venture firm.

Previously, he founded Create33, a 22,000 sq ft innovation center for the Pacific Northwest that provides resources and access to founders to help fuel their growth. He spent 3.5 years at Amazon working with founders and designing programs to help them find customers. Prior to that, he founded or was early at several companies.
