As we assemble our volunteer tech corps, we will be looking to our community to fill the roles needed to assess, build, and implement various solutions for projects that range from short-term fixes to long-term solutions. We understand that each project will present a unique set of challenges, and pulling from a broad database of skills, backgrounds, and expertise will be important to the success of each project.

GrowNYC's Greenmarket farmers market program is working with a tech developer, Ludvig Suneson, to launch an online ordering platform, Fellow Farmer. www.fellowfarmer.com
We are seeking volunteers that are interested in helping us to continue to improve the Fellow Farmer platform, particularly with regards to Covid-19 related requirements.
We have a need for both UX designers and developers with experience from React, React Native or native iOS/Android development.
The Goal -
Creating features within their existing app to allow Consumers and Restaurants to order from the farmers market sellers and have the goods delivered.
The Harlem Art Walk is looking for a volunteer to help them with the front-end design of their current website. They are updating their Wix website to support individual local artists during this time by creating a virtual gallery space for artists to manage, showcase, and sell their art through the website. They already have someone working on the back-end and simply need 1 to 2 volunteers to help with the front-end design.

Leading up to this year's city election, the League of Women Voters NYC is seeking volunteers to assist them with creating a strong voter education campaign focused on the roles & responsibilities of elected city officials - Mayor, City Council, Borough President, Public Advocate, Comptroller.
The Goal -
- Produce a library of (6) short polished video clips (about 45 seconds in length) complete with fun and engaging visuals to disseminate through their social and digital channels and through their partner networks.
- Produce a library of social media assets to create a "Record Your Own" version of the videos for individuals to share through their individual networks in multiple languages.
The School of Continuing & Professional Studies (SCPS) plays an essential role in fulfilling the college’s mission of serving the Bronx and surrounding region as an intellectual, economic and cultural center. Each year, hundreds of companies have grown, thanks to procurement technical assistance, loan advice and other services such as social media marketing, business plan development, and connections with Lehman College’s Small Business Development Center.
Through a partnership with and funding by Verizon, Lehman College’s Small Business Development Center has launched a program that seeks to help small business owners and entrepreneurs to learn how to use technology to shift their business model to meet the needs of clients while finding new sources of revenue.
The Goal -
- Inform business founders/owners how to use technology to shift their business model to meet the needs of their clients while finding new sources of revenue.
- Assess their marketing needs and what technology solution can help them meet their goals.
- Be matched with a business owner to coach them through the selection and implementation of these valuable technologies over a period of 3-6 months.
